Happy Holidays

We are so happy to have Christmas this year with Mimi, Art, Aunt Mel, Uncle Brad, Savanna and Sammy. There were threats of bad weather but everyone made it safe and sound.
Aside from opening presents on Christmas, we were able to do lots of other fun stuff too. We went on a tour of the capitol building, saw the white house and went to brunch downtown. The cold weather and the rain didn't stop us from having fun!

All dressed up for church in matching outfits.

We got to go to a performance at Temple Square and saw the Festival of Lights.

There was a nativity scene there too that was really nice.

All the trees were lit up. I have never seen so many lights before.
They said there were almost half a million.

Savanna had her birthday on New Year's day. She requested chocolate cake
with Hello Kitty and chocolate cupcakes.

They went to the movies in the morning...

had her party in the afternoon...

decorated cupcakes...

and went to Chuck E. Cheese in the evening. What a special day!
Besides all the fun we had, we also got several projects done. We rearranged furniture, hung pictures, got our garage organized and finished our bathroom in the basement. I am so lucky to have such a great family! They were all wonderful and we are so happy they could all make it this year for Christmas even though they were put to work! We love you guys!!
